Introduction
The price of a used back cover can range from $15-$25 U.S. dollars on eBay, but they are hard to find.
What you need

- Remove the three screws on the bottom of the camera with a Philips #00 screw driver.
- When the bottom plate is removed there is nothing to hold in the battery covers so the springs for the covers and the covers can fall out easily.

- Open the back cover of the camera to reveal the pin holding the back cover to the body
- Slide in a Jimmy to help pry the back cover open as it can be difficult just using your fingers.

- Push out the pin holding the back cover to the body of the camera using angled tweezers.
- Once the pin is poking out use pliers or tweezers to pull the pin out the rest of the way.

Step 4
- Pull off the back cover from the camera body.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
