Introduction
To remove the white document mat, you must:
- Carefully rip out the foam that’s glued onto the cover.Glue in the replacement document mat.

- The document mat is taped on to these four corners of the cover. These spots will be where we’ll start removing the mat.

- Gently peel the tape on each corner of the mat using your hands or an iFixit Tech Knife.
- Be careful to not rip the foam while peeling.

- Tape in your replacement document mat back onto the top cover of the scanner.
