Basic or Reverse? Does your zipper show its teeth? If the front side of the zipper, with the slider and pull, shows the teeth, you have a basic coil zipper (pictured in purple). If there is fabric covering the teeth, it is a reverse coil zipper (pictured in blue). Note that a reverse coil zipper is different than a reversible coil zipper. A reverse coil zipper doesn’t show its teeth from the front, while a reversible coil zipper can be operated from both sides....
